Fees:
Fees for the 2012/2013 season are:
1 child - $95.00 (TLAA fee of $65.00 plus KLAC fee of $30.00)
2 children - $170.00 (TLAA fee of $120 plus KLAC fee of $50.00)
3 children - $235.00 (TLAA fee of $165 plus KLAC fee of $70.00)
Each additional child after third - $45.00 (TLAA fee of $25.00 plus KLAC fee of $20.00)
Tiny Tots - $15.00 (TLAA fee to cover insurance. No additional KLAC fee)
Dual Registration - $45.00 (TLAA fee of $25.00 plus KLAC fee of $20.00)
Fees are set each year by TLAA and a portion of the fee is submitted directly to TLAA to cover registration and insurance. In addititon to the TLAA registration fee, KLAC charge $20 per child (to cover individual expenses such as trophies, ribbons and tickets) and $10 per family (to cover expenses such as maintenance of equipment, electricity, telephone, and other administration costs like pens, clipboards, paper, printer toner etc). We do not charge a competition fee each week, nor do we expect visiting athletes to pay to compete.

Welcome to our website
Kingborough Little Athletics Centre Inc. is affiliated with the Tasmanian Little Athletics Association and provides a range of athletics events for children between the ages of 5 and 14 in the Kingborough area.
Our season starts on the first Saturday in October and extends through to early March. We meet at Gormley Park, Gormley Drive, Kingston (off Summerleas Road, before Kingborough Sports Centre) on Saturday mornings at 8.30am with the occasional Wednesday evening twilight meeting at 5.30pm.
Little Athletics is a family activity where parents are encouraged to assist with the running of events. It is a great way for the family to be actively involved in sport. The emphasis is not on winning, but athletes improving their performance in a friendly atmosphere of "Family Fun and Fitness".
